The competence of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Mogilev includes the following issues:

• Development of financial, economic, trade and cultural ties
• Consular assistance to businessmen of the represented state
• Assistance of the export products promotion to the markets of the Republic of Belarus
• Representing the business circles interests of the Republic of Latvia
• Promotion of the cultural exchange (organization of concerts, cultural forums, business meetings)

The opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Mogilev took place on December 12, 2018.

The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Mogilev has no right to issue passports, travel tickets and visas. The right to issue Schengen visas to Belarusian citizens is vested power in the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia.
